About Derrick
At just 11 years of age, Derrick McGrew has captured the attention of the racing community. Derrick starting racing at age 4 and won 148 kart races before making the transition into a full-size Dirt Modified in 2018. Derrick had a breakout year in his first Dirt Modified season with 17 wins and 2 track championships. The future is bright for the Ballston Spa, NY native as he gets behind the wheel of his new #26 Big Block car in 2020.

Derrick McGrew Jr. Driver Development believes in extending opportunities to young, up and coming drivers the same way that others did for Derrick. Derrick McGrew Jr. Driver Development is always looking for new talent to carry the sport into the future. We are interested in working with young racers who work hard both on and off the track.
